I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The rooms were lovely and warm, the shower was hot, and the overall experience was better than your average Ibis hotel. The room was spacious and looked new, with wooden-look floorboards, giving a cleaner impression. The bed was large and very comfortable, and the fully working air-conditioning was a great addition.

The staff at the hotel were so friendly and efficient, and they forgave my very basic French skills. They were not only efficient but also very helpful and friendly, always ready to assist. The welcome drink and tours/ticket assistance added a nice touch to my stay.

The location of the hotel was ideal for getting into town, as it was right opposite the tram stop into Bordeaux. It was also very near Bordeaux centerville. However, it was a little far from a supermarket. While there was nowhere to stroll in the evening apart from the lake, it was convenient for visiting the city center of Bordeaux.

The dining experience was good overall, with local fresh products. The staff was helpful, but there were instances like needing to ask for the juice machine to be refilled. The quality of food was better than the quantity, and it was worth the money.

Despite the room being a little small for our motorcycle gear, we found the 2 single beds very spacious and useful. However, the lack of hot drink making facilities was a drawback for enjoying a morning cuppa. Overall, great for a couple of nights.
